Kissan Mithra Multi State Co-Operative Society Limited is dedicated to transforming agriculture in India. Objective of the society will be to promote the interest of all its members to attain their social and economic betterment through self-help and mutual aid in accordance with the cooperative principles. We have formulated various loan products attractive interest rates, to promote agriculture, environmental friendly.  The society is managed and operated by professionals in key areas. We are permitted to open and operate Customer Facilitation Centres in the States of Kerala and Tamilnadu. The society’s corporate office is located at Third Floor, Cochin Devaswom Sivasakthi Building, Opp: Nehru Park, Round North, Thrissur- 680001 Kerala. The Central Registrar of Co Operative Societies,department of agriculture and co-operation,ministry of agriculture, government of india,is in charge of our society.


The strategic presence of our Customer Facilitation Centres in Kerala and Tamil Nadu ensures localized service delivery and a closer connection to our member base.Guided by regulatory oversight from the Central Registrar under the Ministry of Agriculture, our operations maintain the highest levels of accountability and compliance.

  • What is a Multi State Co-Operative Society?
    • The term Multi-State Cooperative Society, defined under Section 3(p) of the MSCS Act, 2002, refers to a cooperative society registered under this Act that operates in more than one state. These societies promote cooperative principles across state boundaries, allowing them to serve a larger member base. Regulated by the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies, multi-state cooperatives play an important role in sectors like agriculture and credit, helping members access resources and opportunities beyond their own states.

  • Governing law
    • Multi State Cooperative Societies ACT, 2002: An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to co-operative societies, with objects not confined to one State and serving the interests of members in more than one State, to facilitate the voluntary formation and democratic functioning of co-operatives as people’s institutions based on self-help and mutual aid and to enable them to promote their economic and social betterment and to provide functional autonomy and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

  • Basics of Multi State Societies
    • Multi-State co-operative societies which may be registered.—(1) No multi-State co-operative society shall be registered under this Act, unless,— (a) its main objects are to serve the interests of members in more than one state; and (b) its bye-laws provide for social and economic betterment of its members through self-help and mutual aid in accordance with the co-operative principles. (2) The word “limited” or its equivalent in any Indian language shall be suffixed to the name of every multi-State co-operative society registered under this Act with limited liability

  • Economic Advantages
    • Cooperative societies offer loans for effective functions and economic help to farmers and different decreased profits incomes people. Other Benefits- Cooperative societies are exempted from paying registration expenses and stamp responsibilities in a few states.
